Ali Al Aidarous is a prominent UAE international arbitrator with 35 years of experience in commercial and corporate matters, having right of audience before the UAE Courts operating in Arabic, as well as UAE common law courts (DIFC – Part I & II and ADGM Courts) operating in English.
His arbitration practice covers a diverse range of legal disputes. Besides, he regularly provides expert opinions on UAE laws to foreign courts and international arbitration panels.
Ali is currently a Court member of arbitrateAD and member of the DFSA Financial Markets Tribunal.
He has also served as the UAE representative at the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Court, in Paris, France. In this capacity, he has attended several committee sessions of the Court tasked with making a final review of the ICC awards. He has also served as the Chairman of the ICC-UAE Commission on Arbitration & ADR, and as a member of Board of Directors of the National Committee of the ICC-UAE. He is also a member of the ADGM Arbitration Centre Panel of Arbitrators. His experience includes acting as both in-house corporate lawyer, and counsel and arbitrator.
Ali is fluent in Arabic, English and French.

Hashem is Partner at ALAIDAROUS. He is a U.A.E. national, triple-qualified lawyer, admitted as a Lawyer by the Supreme Court of Queensland, an Advocate by the UAE Ministry of Justice, and an Attorney by the New York Supreme Court. He is registered with the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department, Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Courts, and Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) Courts. He is a member of New York State Bar Association and the International Bar Association (Arbitration Committee, Litigation Committee, International Construction Projects Committee, Arab Regional Forum), and specialises in international and domestic commercial arbitration as well as complex litigation before UAE Courts. Hashem has been appointed as ICC UAE Delegate to the ICC Global Commission on Arbitration and ADR.
Hashem holds Master’s degree in International Corporate and Commercial Law (LLM, King’s College London, UK), Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (GDLP, Queensland University of Technology, Australia), Certificate in Legal Practice (UAE Institute of Training and Judicial Studies), and Bachelor of Laws (LLB, The University of Queensland, Australia).
