ICC UAE’s Business Councils Initiative Briefing Event

The event aims to foster meaningful dialogue on potential areas of collaboration, explore how ICC UAE can support business councils and their members, and create effective networking opportunities.

As the voice of the business community in the United Arab Emirates, ICC UAE is committed to advancing policies and practices that promote trade and business growth within the UAE, the region, and globally.

The Commission on Customs and Trade Facilitation continues to play a pivotal role in overcoming trade barriers and championing innovations that enable the liberalization of global trade and investment. By being part of the ICC global network, the commission’s work directly impacts international trade, particularly in areas such as freight, logistics, and customs—a focus of great interest to all stakeholders in the global supply chain.

Within the UAE, the commission has significantly contributed to enhancing the movement of goods and services, positioning the UAE as a premier trade hub and an optimal gateway to emerging markets. Its efforts have included the development of rules and standards that streamline trade, benefiting the broader business community.
